GCOM Accredited Validation and Verification Bodies

GCOM accredits independent third-party national/regional/international Validation and Verification Bodies (VVBs) to conduct the validation and verification functions required. These VVBs ensure and safeguard the integrity and credibility of projects registered and credits/ certificates issued under GCOM.

This supports GCOM in upholding the highest standards of environmental integrity, transparency, and accountability in the validation and verification of emission reduction and/or removal projects.

Criteria Standards Procedures

The list of accredited VVBs is expected to be regularly updated with newly accredited VVBs, as well as after periodic reviews should the outcome of the review impact the existing accreditation.
