Stakeholder Engagement

Stakeholder refers to individuals, entities, and interested organizations or groups that might have interaction or interest in the project activity. There are multiple instances where stakeholder engagement is required as part of the GCOM process:

1. First stakeholder engagement, where potential project’s PDD is open for engagement
2. A secondary stakeholder engagement is required for the project registration that is held for 15 days on the GCOM website

The stakeholder engagement is meant to allow stakeholders to express their views, comments and concerns regarding a specific project activity and its potential environmental, social and economic impacts.
